Hi, I’m Cindy, here’s a little bit about me. I like traveling, sunny weather, and new challenges. I am a business owner, it’s great because I like being my own boss, spending time at home with my husband and I absolutely hate alarm clocks.
Some of my favorite things include eating homemade bread right out of the oven, reminiscing with my brother about family, and of course, van camping.
I can talk to anyone. Apparently, that is a family thing because my Dad could talk and talk, and my brother is an excellent storyteller. I have a propensity for making lists of things to do and then not being able to find the list. Can any of you relate to that?
Our home base is a farm out in the country, the best thing about it is the peace and quiet it provides, sometimes you can sit for hours, and the only thing you hear is birds chirping and the crickets. It is kind of like being on vacation, but it involves lots more work!
Traveling is in my blood every spring when the snow starts to melt, I get the urge to get on the road. I have camped in a tent, travel trailer, van, and I have even camped in a car. My first road trip was to Colorado when I was about three. I have been hooked ever since.
In the old sepia tone picture is my family’s first van camper, a 1952 Chevrolet one-ton panel truck. In 1969 when I was six years old, we went to Alaska in it, can you believe that? And yes, that is me in the picture.
My husband and I enjoy traveling to the western states. There are just so many awe-inspiring places there that you just keep wanting to return to visit them again and again. Life is about love, adventure, and creating experiences together. Your life experiences are something that you can reminisce about for years to come.
We hope that you find this site helpful and a useful source of information as you begin or continue your van camping adventure.
